Via the Brenner highway (A22) take exit Brixen/Pustertal (Bressanone/Val Pusteria) and follow the main road into the Pustertal (Valle Pusteria) towards Bruneck (Brunico). Just before you reach Bruneck (Brunico), take exit Bruneck-West (Brunico-Ovest). In the rotary traffic follow the signs to Bruneck (Brunico). In the following two rotary traffics follow the signs to “Ahrntal” (Valle Aurina). You will pass through the villages of St. Georgen (San Giorgio), Gais and Uttenheim (Villa Ottone). Just before you reach Mühlen in Taufers (Molini di Tures), look for the sign to Kematen (Caminata) and follow it for about one kilometer until you reach the Kematen (Caminata) bridge. Now you can follow the signs to Hotel Mair.

Following the the main road from Cortina or Lienz/Innichen (San Candido), take the exit Bruneck-Ost (Brunico-Est) when you reach Bruneck (Brunico). In the following two traffic circles follow the signs to “Ahrntal” (Valle Aurina). You will pass through the villages of San Giorgio, Gais and Villa Ottone. You will pass through the villages of St. Georgen (San Giorgio), Gais and Uttenheim (Villa Ottone). Just before you reach Mühlen in Taufers (Molini di Tures), look for the sign to Kematen (Caminata) and follow it for about one kilometer until you reach the Kematen (Caminata) bridge. Now you can follow the signs to Hotel Mair.

The destination station for your arrival is Bruneck (Brunico). Traveling from north to south it passes through Innsbruck, Brenner (Brennero), Bozen (Bolzano). The most common transfer station is Franzensfeste (Fortezza). The east-west route passes through Lienz, Innichen (San Candido), Franzensfeste (Fortezza).
From Bruneck (Brunico), you will continue your journey by bus or taxi, which depart near the train station.

Regular flights are available to and from Bozen (Bolzano) (Airport Bolzano Dolomiti), Innsbruck (A), Verona or Treviso.
